De organische, tinnen takken verwijzen naar plantenstructuren die reiken naar licht, de glazen bollen fungeren als knooppunten van energie en uitwisseling. De transparante bol staat voor water en lucht: onzichtbare, maar essentiële voorwaarden voor leven. Ze weerspiegelt letterlijk zijn omgeving.
De groene, blauwe en witte bollen suggereren chlorofyl en zuurstof, producten én voorwaarden van hetzelfde proces.
Zoals bij fotosynthese kan geen enkel onderdeel op zichzelf bestaan: licht, water en koolstofdioxide werken samen om groei mogelijk te maken.
De fragiele balans, het leunen op elkaar maken zichtbaar dat leven ontstaat uit samenwerking. Dit werk benadrukt dat duurzaamheid begint bij verbondenheid tussen materialen, processen en ecosystemen.
Net zoals mensen elkaar nodig hebben om te leven.
Glas en tin zijn gevormd met verloren wastechniek.

Verre, étain
Les branches organiques en étain évoquent des structures végétales qui s’étirent vers la lumière, tandis que les sphères de verre font office de nœuds d’énergie et d’échange. La sphère transparente symbolise l’eau et l’air : des conditions invisibles, mais essentielles à la vie. Elle reflète littéralement son environnement.
Les sphères vertes, bleues et blanches évoquent la chlorophylle et l’oxygène, à la fois produits et conditions d’un même processus.
Tout comme dans la photosynthèse, aucun élément ne peut exister isolément : la lumière, l’eau et le dioxyde de carbone collaborent pour rendre la croissance possible.
L’équilibre fragile, la manière dont chaque partie s’appuie sur l’autre, rendent visible que la vie naît de la coopération. Cette œuvre souligne que la durabilité commence par l’interdépendance entre matériaux, processus et écosystèmes.
Tout comme les êtres humains ont besoin les uns des autres pour vivre.
Le verre et l’étain sont façonnés selon la technique de la cire perdue.

The organic, tin branches refer to plant structures reaching towards light; the glass spheres act as nodes of energy and exchange. The transparent sphere represents water and air: invisible, yet essential conditions for life. It literally reflects its surroundings.
The green, blue and white spheres suggest chlorophyll and oxygen, both products and conditions of the same process.
As with photosynthesis, no single component can exist on its own: light, water and carbon dioxide work together to enable growth.
The fragile balance, the mutual reliance, reveals that life arises from cooperation. This work emphasises that sustainability begins with the interconnectedness of materials, processes and ecosystems.
Just as people need one another to live.
Glass and tin have been formed using the lost-wax technique.
